i have a 1999 chevy blazer. my heater core went out the other day. i called to find out how much it would cost to replace it. it was so damn expensive i just bypassed it so now i have no heat. i was told that i would have to take tho whole dash out to fix it. is this true? do you think this is something that a person with no experience can do?Does anyone know how to change out a heater core in a 1999 chevy blazer?

What happened to it? Did it start leaking antifreeze into the interior? How do you know it's the heater core and not the %26quot;Vent blender door%26quot; or some other problem causing the %26quot;no heat%26quot; problem?
