It's in that black box you see.I think the screws are like 5/16 or 1/4.Make sure you drain the radiator and take both heater hoses loose under the hood first.I am changing my heater core in my 97 escort... got alot of the dash off cant seem to figure out how to get?

Most cores in these bodies are do-able, but not
easy. Follow the Ford shop manual on this one
