When changing a heater core in a 2000 GMC Jimmy, do you have to disconnect airbags and if so how do you do it?

STOP---do not attempt this yourself---if you think the air bags are hooked up to the heater--you obviously do NOT know enough to do this complicated dirty job. Let a shop do right.When changing a heater core in a 2000 GMC Jimmy, do you have to disconnect airbags and if so how do you do it?
I attempted it myself. Not a problem. Not that complicated or dirty. Nothing was damaged. Heater works great. Saved myself about $800.00.

your dealing with an explosive device and SERIUOS if not FATAL injuries could occur

i have blown one airbag on a 1998 Camaro it wasn't pretty and it did hurt like hell and the thing about it was i KNOW what i'm doing

i had to replace the

passanger airbag 300.00

the windshield = 300.00 used and installed

the Dash 700.00 plus color matching

the Derm(diagnostic energy reserve module) 200.00
